Call for Member Artists

Open Call for Member Artists
Application Period  April 30 – June 30
Notification Date   Notified of initial acceptance by August 1.
Application Fee $25 (non-refundable)

Membership Overview
Selected applicants will enter a one-year probationary membership period. Membership includes:

• One-time initiation fee: $250
• Monthly dues: $250
• 30% commission on sales
• Participation in Printmakers Inc. (PMI) governance, including:
  • Monthly board meetings
  • Service on a committee or in a leadership role
• 3–4 gallery shifts per month
• Ongoing active practice in fine art printmaking

Member Benefits

• Solo exhibition approximately every 18 months
• Participation in two group exhibitions annually
• Continuous gallery display:
  • 2–3 framed works
  • 3–4 unframed works
• Personal bin for shrink-wrapped artwork

Studio Access & Equipment

• Three presses
• Etching equipment
• X-Tool engraver
• Brayers
• (Artists provide their own inks and paper.)

Storage

• Two flat file drawers for prints and paper
• Shelving within a personal storage unit
• Space for framed works

How to Apply
Submit the following materials between April 30 and June 30:

• 8–12 high-resolution digital images (300 dpi) of your printmaking work
• Artist résumé or CV
• Artist statement
• Availability for studio shifts (10 AM – 6 PM)
• Paid application fee ($25) via Square

Selection Process

• Round 1: Digital application review
• Round 2: Selected applicants will be invited to submit:
  • 10–12 original prints
  • 1 framed work
• Final Step: Brief interview with PMI board members
