Priscilla Young was born in Sumatra, Indonesia, and spent the first 11 years of her life in Southeast Asia. She received her Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
While working in Washington, D.C., she decided to purse formal art training and enrolled in NOVA Community College where she was first introduced to and fell in love with printmaking. Upon earning her Associate's Degree in Fine Art, she continued her education and graduated with a Master’s in Fine Arts from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts (PAFA).
Since childhood, she has always created art and was inspired by her Grandfather who also attended PAFA.
