Veronica Barker-Barzel Kelly

Veronica Barker-Barzel Kelly was born in Washington, DC, and grew up mostly in Europe and then spent her early 20’s in Japan.

​She received her bachelor’s in liberal arts from the University of Maryland, University College. Veronica was raised in an artistic household. Her formal art training included a Post Baccalaureate program at Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA).

Artist Statement

I embark into worlds of adventure through my art. I am influenced by the various cultures of the places that I have lived, traveled for moments of time, and stemmed from Eastern European fairytales and folklore.

Printmakers Inc. ​​is an educational 501c3 nonprofit workshop and gallery founded in 1974. We are dedicated to original hand-pulled prints using a variety of techniques. 
Visit us in Studio 14 at the Torpedo Factory Art Center, 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily.
